About New Child Fundamentals

New Child Fundamentals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, founded by Dr. Jaleh Niazi in 2015. It is dedicated to providing resources to help parents and children feel empowered to make healthy choices. Services such as tutoring are available for K-12 students and parenting classes are available for families with older adolescents or teens. Our programs are focused on students who may be facing one or more challenges, such as socioeconomic factors, medical, or learning disorders in order for them to reach their academic and personal goals.
As a board-certified pediatrician with twenty years of clinical experience, Dr. Jaleh Niazi has seen the challenges that children and parents face regarding their education and health. Our goal is to help our students meet these challenges and to support their families as they raise their children in their communities. Furthermore, as part of its mission, New Child Fundamentals strives to connect children who are facing significant personal challenges to existing children’s health programs. By interfacing with our students' schools and pediatricians, as well as other non-profit and community programs, New Child Fundamentals can help provide children with additional resources.
By establishing New Child Fundamentals in close association with a pediatric practice, many families who otherwise would not seek available resources can make use of them when referred directly by their pediatrician. However, the program is by no means limited to a particular patient base and is open to the community at large. Finally, New Child Fundamentals runs solely by volunteers committed to helping youth reach their potential.
